FIJI, BULA!

FIJI BULA!

BORDER OPENING STATUS

Fiji offers quarantine free travel to fully-vaccinated travellers.

Imagine Fifth Avenue and 42nd St in New York. Or even better Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo. This is what Fiji symbolizes  in the Pacific, a colorful crossroad made of 322 islands of which 106 are inhabited by a rich mixture of exuberant Melanesians, East Indians, Polynesians, Chinese, Micronesians and Europeans, all blending into a very unique culture. Fiji offers gorgeous resorts, good food, outer island living, surfing, golfing and diving. The islands are scattered over 1,300,000 square km, most of them volcanic of origin. Our itinerary here is one that combines a stop first on the main island of Viti Levu, the largest of the islands, home to the capital city of Suva, as well as the majority of Fiji's residents, it's also the site of Fiji's international airport near Nadi on the western side of the island. Viti Levu's interior is dominated by mountains, including Mt. Tomanivi, an extinct volcano and  we suggest a stop of 2-3 nights on Viti Levu to explore the capital, get your bearings on Fijian culture and experience some of the unique activities on the island from day hikes, rafting and a very unique historical perspective on the islands.

Fiji’s way of life remains strong and resilient in the face of outside influence. Traditional Fijian society is based on communal principles derived from village life where families share the obligations and rewards of community life and are still led by a hereditary chief. This is why we believe in taking some time to then leave Viti Levu and experience the “real Fiji”. We suggest a transfer to one of the remote islands and we work with four exclusive resorts across the country, each with it’s own uniqueness. Based on your ideal holiday, be it diving, golfing, experiencing local village life or simply doing nothing, we can recommend a specific resort that will suit your needs.

As usual we organize everything, from all your transfers, private charter to the islands, tours and any specific requirements you may need.

Fiji is made up of approximately 330 islands but only 110 of these are inhabited. Most of the population lives on the two biggest islands Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.
