THE GRAND PACIFIC
Oceania. Over 8 million square kilometres of blue expanse needing a whole lot of time on your hands to explore this big backyard… The rivalry between nations is fierce, especially when it comes to rugby, but no one can dispute the laid back lifestyle that each corner brings. More and more these days we have been receiving requests to mix together our favourite parts of Australia and New Zealand, but to do the Pacific justice, there needs to be a tropical island thrown in there too! This dream journey can be as action packed or relaxing as you wish. They beauty of all these locations is their relative close proximity to each other. We can promise short flight times and and maximum hours with your feet up, reading a book with an incredible view. We can promise the perfect mix of city, mountains, outback and ocean. And we can promise special memories that will leave you wishing you could turn back time and relive it all again!
Start off in Australia, an iconic land mass known for outrageous accents and indigenous cultures that date back tens of thousands of years. Recover from jet lag and watch the sun rise over the Sydney Opera House from your balcony. Learn to scuba dive and witness the ground breaking climate change research on the remote and isolated Lizard Island - one of the northern most points of the Great Barrier Reef. Experience the incredible smells and colours of the outback and walk amongst ancient rocks that have nourished Australia’s indigenous for thousands of years. Spot koala and an abundance of wildlife on the beautiful Kangaroo Island whilst staying at one of our all time favourite lodges before enjoying some of the best Italian food outside of Italy in Melbourne.
Onto Aotearoa New Zealand with our top picks of the North and South Island. Introducing Queenstown, the adventure capital and some of the most incredible mountains you will ever see. If adrenaline is your thing, bungy jumping and skydiving are on the cards, otherwise for those Lord of the Rings fans, we have some special surprises that will allow you to experience the best of Middle Earth. Think incredible private helicopter experiences over Fiordland and the West Coast with a few special “picnic spots” on top of a mountain or two. Think plentiful vineyards and world class golf courses. There is a reason why Queenstown is on the list of so many, experience the beauty without the masses. The East Coast of the North Island is equally as specially and here youll have a chance to slow down and cherish the peace and quiet. From experiencing the national kiwi bird in its natural habitat to rural farm tours learning why New Zealand has so many sheep, you’ll feel like a local by the end of your stay.
Finally onto the tropics. Fiji. Private islands, white sand beaches and beautiful warm water. A perfect way to finish. No words or photos will give justice to the culture and beauty of these isolated corners. We can’t think of a better place in the world to destress than the Pacific.
